In a bid to raise crores, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to sell a total of 22 plots reserved for residential and commercial purposes in some of the prominent wards of the city.

The auction is scheduled between Apr 4 and 8 via e-auction.

Plots in Motera, Chandkheda, and Bodakdev, along with Thaltej, Makarba, Shilaj, Vastral, Vatva, Nikol, Muthia, and Isanpur and Narol, have been included for auction.

A 4,062 square metre plot for residential purposes on Zydus Hospital Road in Thaltej ward costs ₹2.75 lakh per sq m.

The sale of all the plots is likely to yield an income of over ₹1,000 cr.
