In a precedent-setting judgment, a special POCSO court in Vadodara sentenced all five convicts in the 2024 Bhayali gang-rape case to life imprisonment until their natural death. The court also imposed fines on the convicts and ordered ₹10 lakh in financial compensation to the minor victim to support her long-term rehabilitation and recovery.
