General Dhiraj Seth assumed charge as the 31st Chief of the Army Staff on Wednesday and marked the occasion with an emotional salute to his father, Lt Gen K.M. Seth (Retd), after receiving the Guard of Honour. His brother, Rear Admiral Ravnish Seth, also saluted him. Gen Seth pledged to build a technology-enabled, future-ready Army while prioritising veterans, modernisation and national security.
