Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia has been named among the 10 winners of the 2026 CHANEL Next Prize, receiving €100,000 in unrestricted funding and a two-year mentorship programme. Kapadia earned global recognition after her film All We Imagine As Light won the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2024, marking another major international honour for the filmmaker.
