Bristy Mukherjee Ghatak, the 28-year-old niece of Fomer West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, was found dead on Tuesday at her Rampurhat residence in Birbhum district. Police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination. Mukherjee reportedly suffered from depression and faced ongoing divorce proceedings, following the loss of her school job after court-ordered recruitment cancellations. Police are investigating the incident.
