The state administration is operating 274 relief camps and aid distribution centres, providing shelter and assistance to 18,902 displaced people.
ASDMA's latest bulletin said floodwaters have submerged 810 villages and damaged around 34,970.8 hectares of agricultural land. Roads, bridges, embankments and other public infrastructure have also suffered extensive damage.
Meanwhile, the Dikhou and Dhansiri rivers continue to flow above the danger mark in Sivasagar and Numaligarh, respectively, with authorities closely monitoring the situation.
