Former Kapadvanj MLA involved in car accident, escapes unhurt

Former minister and ex-MLA from Kapadvanj, Bimal Shah, was involved in an accident when a dumper truck struck his car, as per reports. The incident took place as Shah was visiting his former constituency in Kapadvanj.

According to sources, dumpers from Kapadvanj heading to Ahmedabad take a detour on the Torana to Chipdi road to avoid the Pithai toll tax. As Shah was travelling on the same road, he was struck by the dumper truck.

According to Congress sources, the former minister was fortunately left unhurt after the accident. Upon learning about the accident, party workers expressed concern over Shah’s well-being.

Sources also suggested that since the road from Tirana to Chipdi is in a bad condition, accidents often occur, as drivers lose control of their vehicles.
