Gujarat family returning from Mahakumbh lose 4 members in car-truck collision

In another unfortunate news for Gujarat from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, a Gujarati family met with an accident on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway. Four persons died in the collision between a car and a truck. The deceased were residents of Gariyadhar and Bhalvav, while an injured girl was admitted to the Medical College Hospital in Jhansi for treatment. The accident took place at 4 am on Friday.

Who are the deceased?

As per information received, the deceased include Bipinbhai and Bhavnaben from Rupavati in Gariyadhar, while Jagdishbhai and Kailashben are from Bhalvav. Both couples are related. The only survivor, a young daughter, is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jhansi.

What the police said

After police reached the spot, the bodies were sent for postmortem. As per the police, the car of the family from Gujarat was speeding and the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
