Devotees returning from Mahakumbh met with accident in MP, six dead

The Mahakumbh traffic has led to several accidents on Rewa Prayagraj Highway.
In yet another accident, at least six people were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a bus in Jabalpur on Monday morning.
The accident took place when a car, bearing registration number KA 49 M 5054, was returning to Jabalpur from the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
The car lost control, collided with a tree, jumped over the divider, and entered the wrong side of the road. Unfortunately, it crashed into an oncoming bus, resulting in a fatal collision.
Six people lost their lives at the scene, while two others sustained injuries in the crash. The injured individuals have been admitted to Sihora Hospital for treatment. Authorities are in the process of contacting the families of the deceased.
Officials have released the names of four deceased victims, while the identities of the remaining two are yet to be confirmed.
The deceased were identified as Virupakshi Gumti, Basavaraj Kurti, Balachandra, and Raju.
The two injured individuals have been identified as Sadashiv and Mustaq, with Mustaq reportedly being the driver of the vehicle.
