9 Gujarat women travelling from Mahakumbh injured as bus overturns near MP

A tourist bus travelling from Mahakumbh carrying Gujarati passengers overturned near Khandwa road in Madhya Pradesh on Monday.

The Simrol Police Station in-charge, along with FRB and patrolling officers, quickly responded to the incident and rushed to the scene to manage the situation.

Upon arrival, the authorities promptly requested an ambulance, ensuring the injured passengers were quickly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

According to reports, the group of injured passengers are all from Gandhidham, Gujarat. 

They had been traveling from Prayagraj and were on their way to Omkareshwar, passing through Ujjain.

As per reports, an individual hailing Badawah was sent directly to the hospital. The other Gujarati passengers were initially taken to Mahu Madhya Bharat Hospital.

The injured people reportedly informed that the accident occurred as the driver dozed off at the wheel.
