Smriti Mandhana–Palash Muchhal wedding postponed; know why?

The much anticipated wedding of star Indian woman cricketer Smriti Mandhana with music composer Palash Muchhal which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 23, was indefinitely postponed after Smriti's father had a medical emergency.

The wedding to be held in Sangli was postponed after Srinivas Mandhana had to be rushed to hospital on the morning of the wedding. The cricketer did not want to go ahead with the ceremony when there was a medical emergency in the family, her manager Tuhin Mishra was quoted as telling media persons.

Smriti was set to tie the knot with Muchhal after the mehendi, haldi, and sangeet celebrations over the past couple of days. With the cricketer's team members in attendance and playful videos of their dance going viral, this was one wedding that cricket and music enthusiasts were looking forward to.
