Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Georgina Rodriguez in Intimate Portugal Wedding

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez in an intimate wedding ceremony in Portugal.

The 41-year-old Portuguese footballer married the 32-year-old model in a civil ceremony in Cascais on August 11, 2026, according to a press release cited by People.

The ceremony was described as a private and intimate affair, with the couple's five children in attendance.

Following the wedding, Ronaldo shared a photograph of the couple's hands showing their wedding rings and captioned it “C” with a heart emoji and “G.”

Together Since 2017

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2017 and announced their engagement in August 2025.

Rodriguez had confirmed the engagement by sharing a photograph of her hand resting on Ronaldo's, showcasing a large oval-shaped diamond ring. She captioned the post, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” meaning, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

The couple share five children — twins Eva Maria and Mateo, daughters Alana and Bella, and Ronaldo's 16-year-old son Cristiano Jr., whom he welcomed from a previous relationship.

The couple had earlier announced the death of Bella's newborn twin brother, Ángel, in April 2022.

From Gucci Store Meeting to Marriage

Ronaldo first met Rodriguez in 2017 when she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store.

The couple made their red-carpet debut at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017 before making their relationship official on social media later that year.

In Rodriguez's 2022 Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, Ronaldo recalled their early relationship and described her as an interesting woman who appeared more mature than her age.

The couple's wedding comes after nearly a decade together and marks a new chapter in their relationship.
