Rain lashes Ahmedabad as showers sweep eastern parts of city

Several parts of Ahmedabad received rainfall on Tuesday morning, with showers reported from multiple areas of the city amid a forecast of light to moderate rain.

Rain was reported from Naroda, Ashram Road, CTM, Vastral and Odhav, with the eastern parts of Ahmedabad witnessing widespread showers.

Slight drizzle was reported in some of the western parts, including Bopal, Vejalpur, and Shyamal.

The morning rain brought a fresh spell of wet weather to the city, while more rainfall is expected during the day.

The showers come amid a forecast for continued light to moderate rainfall in Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat.

Residents in low-lying areas and commuters may face waterlogging and traffic disruptions if rainfall intensifies.
