Two Vadodara schools receive bomb threats on same day, 4th incident in 10 days

Vadodara witnessed chaos after a second school in the city received a bomb threat on Friday. After Cygnus World School received a mail warning of a blast using RDX, D R Amin Memorial School in Vadodara’s Diwalipura received a bomb threat via email.
Senior police officers, along with the bomb disposal squad, promptly reached the school and began an investigation.
After classes were suspended, a large number of concerned parents rushed to the school, causing panic.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police Panna Momaya’s team arrived at the school and, with help from the bomb squad, conducted a thorough inspection. However, nothing was found during the investigation.
Five bomb threats in four months in Vadodara
One after another, schools in Vadodara have been receiving bomb threats, but the police are yet to trace the sender of these threatening emails.
January 24: Navrachana Higher Secondary School in Vadodara’s Sama area received a bomb threat
June 23: Again, Navrachana school received threat via email
June 24: Gujarat Refinery English Medium School in Karadiya village of Vadodara received a bomb threat.
July 4: Cygnus World School in Harni received a bomb threat.
July 4: D R Amin Memorial School in Diwalipura received a bomb threat via email.
