4th bomb threat in 4 months as Vadodara’s Cygnus School receives mail

In recent times, major cities of Gujarat — especially Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara — have been receiving bomb threats. After Navrachana School and Gujarat Refinery English Medium School in Vadodara, Cygnus World School received a threatening email.

Following the threat, the bomb squad, dog squad, and senior police officials rushed to the spot. The threat caused fear and anxiety among parents. A thorough checking and search operation is currently underway at the school.

According to reports, Cygnus World School located in the Harni area of Vadodara received a threatening email on Friday morning. The email warned of a blast using RDX, triggering a swift response from authorities. Top police officials, bomb squad teams, and the dog squad reached the location immediately. Notably, in the past two weeks, three different schools have received similar threats, prompting security agencies to stay on high alert.

January: Navrachana Higher Secondary School in Vadodara’s Sama area received a bomb threat 

June 23: Again, Navrachana school received threat via email

June 24: Gujarat Refinery English Medium School in Karadiya village of Vadodara received a bomb threat.

July 4: Cygnus World School in Harni area received a bomb threat.
