During the altercation, Ranveersinh allegedly handed over a knife to Mahavirsinh, following which Mahavirsinh attacked Hiren Solanki with multiple stab wounds, police said.
Hiren, who sustained serious injuries in the assault, was rushed to Sola Civil Hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, officials added.
The Vejalpur police have registered a murder case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
