Two accidents in one day in Gujarat: 7 dead in Junagadh, 20 injured in Ankleshwar

Seven persons, including two students, died after two cars collided near Bhanduri, close to Maliya Hatina in Junagadh in the early hours of Monday. 

The students were reportedly on their way to an exam when the accident occurred. The collision was so severe that one of the cars caught fire, causing a gas cylinder to explode. The blast also led to a fire in nearby huts.

Fire department and police teams reached the location and initiated rescue operations. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is underway.

Another accident in Ankleshwar

Meanwhile, 20 people were injured a horrific accident involving two buses in Ankleshwar on Monday morning.


The accident took place near Valia Chokdi in Ankleshwar. A Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus collided with a private bus, and both buses overturned.
