3 die after driver falls asleep at the wheel on Ankleshwar-Surat Highway

Three members of a family were killed in a tragic accident early on November 15, after their driver fell asleep at the wheel. The accident occurred near Hansot on the Ankleshwar-Surat state highway (SH 6).

Police say the car veered off the road and collided with a tree. Two family members died instantly, while a third succumbed to injuries after being transported to Bharuch Civil Hospital.

The family from Bhavnagar was reportedly travelling to Surat at the time of the crash.
