<img src="https://static.gujaratsamachar.com/content_image/content_image_a10ece61-72d2-4e72-b54e-d65e1cf7955e.jpeg" data-filename="Five-of-a-family-travelling-to-attend-funeral-die-in-car-crash.jpg" style="width: 100%;"> Five people of a&nbsp; family died in a car accident near Rajasthan's Phalodi on Thursday.The family was en route to Jodhpur from Dahod’s Limkheda to attend a funeral.The accident took place near Sarneshwar Bridge, Sirohi, on NH 62 when the sedan’s tyre burst.The car carrying the family plunged into a water body off the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle.The deceased include Pratap Bhati (53), owner of Shree Ram Hotel in Limkheda, his wife Usha (50), daughter-in-law Pushpa (25), his cousin Ramesh (50) and grandson 11-month-old Ashu.Ramesh’s wife, Sharda Bhati, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Sirohi.After the tragedy, the collector and senior police officers reached the scene.The bodies were handed over to the family after post-mortem.Also read:<a href="https://english.gujaratsamachar.com/news/gujarat/18-injuries-every-hour-from-road-accidents-in-gujarat" target="_blank">18 injuries every hour from road accidents in Gujarat</a>
