Updated: Apr 24th, 2024
As Gujarat is set for Lok Sabha and bye elections on May 7, the prime minister Narendra Modi is likely to campaign in his home state on the foundation day of the state on May 1.
As the Kshatriya agitation refused to subside in the state, the BJP leaders are expecting Modi’s visit to placate the controversy in Gujarat.
PM Modi is likely to visit Gujarat for the election campaign on May 1, according to sources. The administration has initiated preparations for his visit.
He is likely to address public meetings in Panchmahal and Dahod. He is set to campaign for the BJP candidates Rajpalsinh Jadeja and Jaswantsinh Bhabor in Panchmahal and Dahod seats, respectively.
While the PM is about to visit Dahod’s Limkheda, union home minister Amit Shah will also address a public meeting in Rajkot’s Jamkandorna.
Gujarat is set to witness a flurry of BJP star campaigners, including UP CM Yogi Adityanath, national party president JP Nadda, and union defence minister Rajnath Singh.
