Man’s body found in closed hotel in Chhotaudepur, family suspects murder

The body of a man was recovered from a closed hotel near Nani Peepalej village in Chhotaudepur district on the evening of May 1. 

Police send body for postmortem

The police carried out a primary investigation, carefully examining the area around the hotel. The body was then taken into custody and shifted to the Civil Hospital in Chhotaudepur for further procedures.  A postmortem examination was conducted to determine the cause of death. He was later identified as Suni Rathwa, a 32-year-old.  His family members were informed.

Family raises serious allegations, demands justice

The family members of Rathwa have made serious allegations, claiming that he was brutally beaten by some unknown persons and then murdered. They believe that this is not a natural death and have demanded a fair and transparent investigation. The family has also urged authorities to find the culprits as soon as possible and punish them. The police have registered a case of accidental death for now and stated that the exact cause will only be confirmed after the postmortem report is released. 

Officials have assured that every angle, including the possibility of murder, is being investigated. The case remains under active investigation, and more details are expected soon.
