A fresh drama has unfolded after national president of Kshatriya Karni Sena Raj Shekhawat’s controversial statement on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

At a gathering in Valsad, Shekhawat said, “Lawrence is one timid man.”

He said that the infamous Bishnoi is a “terrorist”. “He appoints hitmen to murder people and extort money and do drug business,” Shekhawat added.

Shekhwat said that Bishnoi is safe till he is in jail. “Our Rajput warriors will kill him."

The Karni Sena chief recounted the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi and said, “He murdered our community’s Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi from jail, he (Bishnoi) should be killed by an encounter in jail.”

Shekhawat has stated that if Kshatriyas are not given tickets for the upcoming nagarpalika elections, they will contest as independents.

“We will vote against the party that does not give tickets to the leaders of the Kshatriya community,” said Shekhawat.
