Gujarat class 12 results 2026 declared: Girls outperform boys, Ahmedabad city records lowest result

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has announced the Class 12 results for 2026. The Science stream recorded 84.33%, while the General stream achieved 92.71%. Girls of the state have performed better than boys in both streams.

In the General stream girls scored 95.41%, while boys scored 90.10%. This means girls performed 5.31% better than boys. Four centers, Tadav, Kotda, Kangwai, and Prashanawada, achieved 100% results.

Ahwa-Dang district secured the top position with 97.88% results. On the other hand, Ahmedabad city recorded the lowest result at 87.10%. A total number of 2,030 schools in the General stream achieved 100% results.

In the Science stream, Kumbhariya center recorded the highest result at 98.62%, Limdi center in Dahod district had the lowest at 42.98%. Morbi district ranked first with 94.85% results, and Dahod district had the lowest result at 57.44%.

A total of 209 schools in the Science stream achieved 100% results, adding to the success of 2026 year’s board exams.
