Gujarat board Class 12, GUJCET results today, over 5 lakh students await outcome

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will announce the results of Class 12 Science, General stream and GUJCET 2026 today.

The official announcement will be made at 10 am at Swarnim Sankul-1 in Gandhinagar in the presence of Education Minister Dr Pradyuman Vaja and Minister of State for Education Rivaba Jadeja.

This year, more than 5.01 lakh students across the state appeared for the Class 12 board examinations, which were conducted from February 26 to March 16, 2026, for Science, General and Vocational streams.

Students will be able to check their results from 10 am onwards on the board’s official website by entering their seat number.

In addition, GSEB has also provided an SMS facility for students who may not have access to the internet. To receive results via SMS, students need to type GJ12S (for Science) or GJ12G (for General stream) followed by their seat number and send it to 58888111. The result details will be sent as a reply message.

Following the declaration of results, the admission process for higher education courses will begin. Admissions to professional courses such as engineering and pharmacy will be based on a merit list prepared using both board exam marks and GUJCET scores.

Students have been advised to rely only on official sources to check their results and to keep all necessary documents ready for the upcoming admission process.
