GSEB HSC results 2025 declared: 83.51% pass percentage for Science, 93.7% for General stream
Class 12 Science and Commerce stream students can now check their results on GSEB website.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) announced results of the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted in February-March 2025 on Monday (May 5, 2025) at 10 am.
General stream result
The HSC final examination for General stream was held in 516 centres between February 27, 2025 and March 17, 2025.
In this examination, 3,64,485 regular candidates were registered, out of which 3,62,506 students appeared for the exam. Among them, 3,37,387 students passed. The result for regular candidates was 93.07%.
Under the Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) system, 24,107 regular candidates were registered, of which 22,897 students appeared, and 12,746 passed. The result for regular candidates under GSOS was 55.67%.
Science stream result
The HSC final examination for Science stream was held in 152 centres between February 27, 2025 and March 10, 2025.
A total of 1,11,223 candidates were registered across Gujarat, out of which, 1,10,315 candidates were present. Among them, 1,00,725 were regular registered students, out of which 1,00,575 candidates were present. Out of these, 83,147 candidates are "eligible for obtaining a certificate". In the context of these students, the state's Class 12 Science stream result is 83.51%.
District-wise result
General stream: Banaskantha saw the highest result in state with 97.20%, while Vadodara stood with lowest result at 87.77%.
Science stream: Morbi ranked highest with 92.91% while Dahod saw the pass percentage at 59.15%.
How to check Gujarat board results?
Step 1: Students can access their results by visiting the Board’s official website www.gseb.org and entering their seat number.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the appropriate link—‘GSEB HSC Result 2025’ for Class 12 or ‘GSEB SSC Result 2025’ for Class 10.
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page. Enter the required information such as your roll number, date of birth, and any other requested details.
Step 4: After filling in your details, click the ‘Submit’ button to view your result.
Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen. Download the result and take a printout for your records.
