Adding to the drowning incidents and the lives lost in them, Gujarat reported another drowning incident in Mahisagar river near Anand’s Khanpur, where two women and two men reportedly lost lives.

According to media reports, the Khambholaj police arrived at the scene and the bodies of the deceased were taken out of the river.

Notably, three from Ahmedabad also died drowning in Mahisagar on June 3, near Galteshwar temple in Kheda.

Another similarly tragic event was reported on May 21 when four minors lost their lives in Bhavnagar’s Bor Talav.

In both Galteshwar and Bhavnagar, people had lost lives trying to save one of them drowning.
