In a tragic turn of events, four minor girls drowned in Bor Talav, a lake in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar.

According to initial reports, the girls had gone to wash clothes on the shores of the lake. As one of them started drowning, five others jumped in to save her.

Four of the girls were declared dead, while one is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

The deceased include Archana Dabhi (17), Rashi Charoliya (9), Kajal Jambucha (12), and Komal Charoliya (13). 

Kinjal Charoliya (12) is undergoing treatment.
