Bulldozers raze ₹3.63 crore worth of illegal structures in Dwarka

The ongoing demolition operation in the Dwarka district entered its 7th consecutive day on Saturday. Bulldozers demolished illegal constructions near the Rukmini temple in Dwarka. 

The operation included demolishing illegal structures set up around the temple. A notice was issued to the concerned parties before the operation began. Heavy machinery was employed to clear illegal encroachments that had occupied public land for years.

In seven days, a total of 406 encroachments were removed, including 364 residential, 13 other, and 9 commercial structures. A total of 1.22 lakh square metres of land, valued at approximately ₹63.72 crore, was cleared of encroachments.

Local police officers ensured that law and order was maintained during the operation.
