BJP’s Mohan Kundaria holds press conference, compares LS candidature with ‘toy’

With the Lok Sabha 2024 elections in sight, BJP had declared 15 candidates to be fielded in the general elections from Gujarat, out of 26 seats in the state.

However, some names were glaringly missing, raising several questions. One such name from Gujarat BJP was Mohan Kundaria, a two-time MP from Rajkot seat.

Addressing the press conference today, he first congratulated union minister Parshottam Rupala, who got the candidature from Rajkot, and also thanked PM Narendra Modi.

However, he went on to make a comment afterwards, which remained a point of discussion for many. Without taking any names, Kundaria stated that the party (BJP) is like a mother.

When a mother has two children, and the younger one cries, the mother takes the toy from the older one and hands it over to the younger one. This is how BJP works, he added.
