AMTS, Kia car, bike collision at Naranpura crossroads leaves 1 injured, causes traffic jam

A triple involving an Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) bus, a Kia car and a motorcycle led to traffic disruption at Naranpura crossroads in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

According to preliminary information, the three vehicles collided with each other at the busy junction, resulting in chaos on the road and a temporary traffic jam in the area.

One person sustained injuries in the accident and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured person is yet to be officially disclosed.

Eyewitnesses alleged that the negligence of the AMTS bus driver had led to the collision. However, police officials said the exact sequence of events and responsibility for the accident would be determined after a detailed investigation.

Following the incident, traffic police personnel immediately reached the spot and began clearing the congestion caused due to the damaged vehicles blocking the road.

Police have initiated further investigation into the incident and are examining CCTV footage and statements from those involved.
