AMC Recruitment 2026: Ahmedabad civic body announces 250 assistant senior clerk vacancies

The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced a major recruitment drive for government job aspirants, inviting applications for 250 Assistant Senior Clerk posts in its administrative cadre.

According to the official notification (Advertisement No. 02/2026-27), eligible candidates can submit their applications online through AMC’s recruitment portal until 11:59 pm on July 7, 2026.

AMC Assistant Senior Clerk Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details

AMC has released a total of 250 vacancies for the post of Assistant Senior Clerk, offering an opportunity for graduates seeking employment in the municipal administration.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks.

Work Experience:

Applicants must have a minimum of three years' experience in an administrative cadre in a government department, local self-government body, semi-government organisation, board, corporation, or an institution registered under the Companies Act.

Computer Knowledge:

Candidates should have basic computer proficiency or must have studied computer as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12. Applicants who do not possess a computer certificate at the time of appointment will be required to clear the CCC examination within one year of joining service.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the first three years. Following satisfactory performance evaluation, they will be placed in Level-4 of the pay matrix with a salary scale of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100, along with applicable allowances as per AMC rules.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 38 years of age as of the last date of application. Reserved category candidates and women applicants will be eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.

• EWS, SEBC, SC and ST Categories: ₹250
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): No application fee
