Ketan Agarwal murder case: Siya's emotional instagram post sparks outrage after arrest

An old Instagram post reportedly shared by Siya Goyal, the accused in the death of her fiance, Ketan Agarwal, has gone viral following her arrest. Social media users have expressed outrage after police accused Siya of plotting Ketan's murder along with her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary.

The post was shared on June 19, which was Siya's birthday and a day after Ketan's death at Lohagad Fort near Pune. In the emotional message, Siya wrote: “You left me on my birthday. You left when we were so close to getting married. I still can’t understand why you did this to me. I had dreams, questions I’ll never get answers to. Why did you leave me when I loved you so much? Rest in peace.”

The post included several photographs and videos of the couple together. At the time, many people viewed it as a grieving fiancee's tribute to her partner. 

As the investigation continues, Siya's birthday post has become one of the most discussed aspects of the case online. What was once seen as a message of grief is now being viewed by many social media users through a very different lens following the murder allegations.

Investigators believe that during the trek, Siya and Chetan pushed Ketan into a nearly 350-foot-deep gorge, causing his death. Further inquiries revealed that this may not have been the first attempt on Ketan's life. Police suspect that on June 14, Siya and Chetan took Ketan to the same fort and allegedly tried to push him into a valley after creating panic over a snake sighting.
