Adding to the increasing road accidents in Gujarat, an unfortunate incident on the Chotila-Rajkot highway took three lives, spurring the discussions once again about road safety in the state.

According to reports, an ambulance rammed into the truck, taking three lives. The deceased was the driver of the ambulance, and two of the patient’s kin- the patient’s sister and her daughter.

The incident took place near Chotila’s well-known Aapagiga No Otlo, a shrine near the highway.

Following the accident, the traffic on the Chotila-Rajkot highway was disrupted. Upon knowing about the incident, a team of police arrived at the site and initiated a probe into the accident.
