Suspected firing at apartment in Vadodara's Gotri, police launch probe

Panic gripped residents after a suspected firing incident was reported at Arena-48 Apartments in the city's Gotri area on Friday.

A bullet is suspected to have struck the balcony of Flat No 201 on the second floor. According to preliminary information, the bullet shattered the balcony glass before entering the drawing room of the apartment.

Residents were startled by the sound of the gunshot, triggering panic in the residential complex.

The Vadodara Taluka Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and have launched an investigation.

Police are trying to ascertain who fired the shot and from where it was fired. Evidence has been collected from the scene, and officials are probing all possible angles.
