On August 2, Suresh reportedly left the family’s business stall, saying he would return shortly, but never came back. His brother said repeated calls to his phone went unanswered.

The following morning, the landlord alerted the family after discovering that Suresh had allegedly hanged himself inside the locked room. Police broke open the door and recovered the body, which was sent for post-mortem examination.
