Rahul Gandhi press conference Live: 'EC does not want a fair election,' says LoP

As Bihar prepares to vote in the first phase of the Assembly elections tomorrow, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to hold a press conference today. The opposition leader has announced that he will reveal further evidence of alleged “vote chori” during the briefing, titled “The H Files.” This will mark his third press conference on the issue.

Brazillian model in Haryana voter list?

Rahul Gandhi cliamed a picture of a Brazilian model was used and added to voters’ list in several constituencies across Haryana.

"One in every eight voters in Haryana are fake, that's 12.5% and despite all this Congress loses by 22,000 votes," says Gandhi.

"A total of 5,21,619 are duplicates in Haryana," the Leader of Opposition said that one person allegedly voted 100 times.

Rahul Gandhi presented example of a woman whose photo has been used 223 times in the actual electoral roll of Haryana.

“They (ECI) are trying to cover up by destroying CCTV footage,” alleged Gandhi.

He further claimed that there are 1,24,177 voters in Haryana with identical photographs.

"Why Election Commission is not removing duplicates? It's because they do not want fair elections," said Gandhi.
