The controversial case surrounding IAS-PO (Indian Administrative Services - Probationary Officer) Puja Khedkar has taken another twist, as a hospital in Pune reportedly found no discrepancies in her disability certificate.

Khedkar’s certificate claimed she had a 7% locomotor disability, which has been reportedly affirmed by the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) hospital, which stated on July 24 that there was no wrongdoing in its issuance.

The hospital reportedly conducted an internal probe following a letter from the district Collectorate.

Their probe involved scrutiny from their physiotherapy and orthopaedic department, which found “no foul play”, an official was quoted as per reports.

Khedkar, 32, had alleged harassment by Pune Collector Suhas Diwase, who had ordered her transfer from Pune Collectorate to Washim in the second week of July.

The IAS-PO had reported to Washim Collectorate and took charge as Assistant Collector on July 11, even as a storm erupted behind Puja Khedkar over a series of allegations and irregularities perpetrated by her in the last few months, shaking the administration.

After the serial exposures of the alleged frauds/irregularities masterminded by Khedkar, even her parents - father Dilip Khedkar who is an ex-state government employee and mother Manorama Khedkar who is an ex-Sarpanch - have come under a cloud in different cases.

While Manorama Khedkar was arrested and is currently in judicial custody, Dilip Khedkar has secured an interim pre-arrest bail till July 25.
