In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has swung into action and declared 8 candidates to contest the elections from Punjab.

The Party has fielded:

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal - Amritsar

Laljit Singh Bhullar - Khadoor Sahib

Sushil Kumar Rinku - Jalandhar

Gurpreet Singh GP - Fatehgarh Sahib

Karamjeet Anmol - Faridkot

Gurmeet Singh Khudian - Bathinda

Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer - Sangrur

Dr Balbir Singh - Patiala

The party is yet to declare its candidates in Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Anandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, and Firozpur.

It is noteworthy that AAP is the ruling party in the state under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The party won with a landslide majority of 92 seats out of the total 117.

Congress won a major share of the 13 seats in Punjab in the 2019 general elections.
