Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Old Video of Accused Siya Goyal Goes Viral as Probe Continues

An old video purportedly showing Siya Goyal, the prime accused in the alleged murder of her fiancé Ketan Agarwal, has surfaced online, drawing fresh attention to the high-profile case.

The video, believed to have been recorded in December 2025, allegedly shows Siya inside a pub holding what appears to be a beer bottle while speaking on the phone. During the conversation, she is heard using abusive language and saying, “First he cheats on me, then he calls me.”

The clip has since gone viral on social media. However, investigators have not officially linked the video to the murder case.

Old Photos and Videos Resurface

Apart from the viral clip, several old photographs and videos featuring Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary have also resurfaced online.

One such video reportedly shows the two attending a cricket league match together months before the alleged crime. Police have not confirmed any connection between these visuals and the ongoing investigation.

Investigation Continues

The case relates to the death of 26-year-old Pune-based real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal, who allegedly died after being pushed from a cliff at Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18. Ketan and Siya were engaged and were reportedly planning to marry in November.

According to Pune Rural Police, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are accused of conspiring to murder Ketan. Both remain in police custody until July 3 as the investigation continues.

Police have also focused on Ketan’s mobile phone, confirming that it remained with Siya for some time after his death before being handed over to his family. However, officials have not disclosed whether any data was accessed, altered or deleted.

Crime Scene Recreated

As part of the investigation, Pune Rural Police recreated the alleged crime scene at Lohagad Fort on Wednesday using a fibre dummy matching Ketan’s approximate height and weight. The dummy was dropped into a gorge estimated to be more than 300 feet deep to understand the sequence of events.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Lonavala Division) Gajanan Tompe said the reconstruction was carried out based on the facts gathered during the investigation. He added that statements of everyone connected to the case are also being recorded.

Earlier this week, police conducted a gait analysis of co-accused Chetan Chaudhary. On Monday, the Vadgaon Maval court extended the police custody of both accused by five days to allow investigators to examine evidence, question witnesses and complete pending forensic procedures.
