Chaos over food at Global Investors Summit sparks political row in MP
A video has gone viral on social media showing chaos erupting over food during lunchtime at the 8th Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The event, held between February 24 and 25, was aimed at boosting the economy and attract investments worth ₹30 lakh crore. Several prominent leaders and investors were reportedly present at the summit.
During lunch, chaos ensued as people were seen snatching plates and scrambling for food.
The chaos soon turned into a political controversy. Congress political media head Mukesh Yadav, in an interview with a media house, criticised the situation and stated that this investment summit promises to generate ₹30 lakh crore, yet we see people snatching food plates. If such people are attending the summit, how can they be expected to contribute to such massive investments?"
In response, BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja dismissed the claims, alleging that Congress was spreading misinformation. He stated that Congress cannot digest the success of this major investment summit, so they are circulating fake videos of mismanagement. No industrialist or investor has reported witnessing such an incident, so how can we believe it actually happened?
