CA Exams Rescheduled

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the CA (chartered accountant) exams in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, during a three-month tenure of April-May-June.

The institute has rescheduled the CA-intermediate and CA-final exams.

CA-intermediate exam schedule

According to the new timetable, the intermediate group-1 exam will be held on May 3, 5, and 9, and the group-2 exam will be held on May 11, 15, and 17.

Earlier, the group-1 exam was scheduled for May 3, 5, and 7, and the group-2 exam was scheduled for May 9, 11, and 13. These date changes are made as several states, including Gujarat, are to undergo polling on May 7.

CA-final exam schedule

The CA final group-1 exam will now be held on May 2, 4, and 8, and the group-2 exam will be held on May 10, 14, and 16.

Earlier, the group-1 exam was scheduled for May 2, 4, and 6, and the group-2 exam was scheduled for May 8, 10, and 12.

The CA members’ International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT) for May 2024 will now be held on May 14 and 16.

Meanwhile, the dates of the foundation exams have not been changed.

The dates of the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) mains session-2 and the UG-medical entrance NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam have also not been changed.
