BJP fields candidates for bye elections of four states, one legislative assembly

As the Lok Sabha elections are just a month away, the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has released the second list of candidates for the Sikkim legislative assembly and the list of four states’ bye elections.
Candidates for the Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Karnataka bye elections have been announced by the party today.

Arjun Modhwadia - Porbandar
Chirag Patel - Khambhat
Dharmendrasinh Vaghela - Waghodia
CJ Chavda - Vijapur
Arvind Ladani - Manavadar
The list of Himachal Pradesh bye election candidates includes Sudhir Sharma, Ravi Thakur, Rajinder Rana, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Chaitanya Sharma, and Devinder Kumar (Bhutto).
One candidate who has been named in the list from Karnataka's Shorapur (ST) constituency is Narasimhanayak (Rajugoda).
From West Bengal’s Bhagawangola, Bhaskar Sarkar will contest the upcoming elections, while Sajal Ghosh will contest from Baranagar.
Earlier in the day, the BJP announced names for the ensuing general elections to the legislative assembly of Sikkim.
