Another massive drug consignment has been seized in the national capital, where the Special Cell of the Delhi Police landed upon 200 kg of cocaine worth around ₹2,000 crore in the international market.

The Delhi police reportedly traced and followed the supplier, and who had stuffed this drug consignment in snack packets.

Although the accused managed to flee to London, the police landed upon these drug packets, states a media report.

This raid, the report adds, is linked to the massive drug bust previously made by Delhi police where they seized around ₹5,600 crore worth of cocaine.

This bust surmounts the weekly tally of drug seizures in Delhi to 762 kg, amounting to more than ₹7,500 crore.

Earlier, Delhi Police made their biggest drug bust ever on October 2, seizing over 560 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kg hydroponic marijuana worth approximately ₹5,620 crore.

This massive consignment was discovered during a raid in South Delhi’s Mahipalpur, leading to the arrest of four men who are believed to be part of an international drug smuggling ring.

This major bust follows another significant crackdown just last month, where the Delhi Police arrested 74 people involved in various drug operations across the city. Multiple raids were conducted, dismantling several drug networks.

Authorities are now digging deeper into the network to uncover more links to international drug trafficking operations.
