6 Terrorists Killed After Attack on Pakistan Rangers HQ in Karachi

At least four Pakistan Rangers personnel were killed after terrorists attacked the Pakistan Rangers headquarters in Karachi on Saturday. Pakistani security forces later killed six terrorists and captured one attacker alive after a fierce gun battle.
The attack began when an explosive-filled vehicle rammed into the Rangers facility in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area, triggering a powerful explosion and heavy exchange of fire.

Attack and Rescue Operation

The powerful blast was heard across Mosamiat Chowrangi and Meteorological Chowrangi on University Road. Panic spread among local residents as continuous firing continued for some time. Security forces quickly surrounded the area to stop the attackers and prevent further damage.

Militant Group Claims Responsibility

• Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA), linked to the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility.
• The group said the attack was carried out by its suicide squad.
