US halts intelligence sharing with Ukraine after suspending military aid

The United States has reportedly stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine, marking a further shift in its stance on the ongoing conflict, according to a British daily. This decision follows the recent suspension of military aid to Kyiv, highlighting growing tensions between the two nations.
Intelligence cooperation has played a key role in assisting Ukraine with targeting Russian military positions. However, reports indicate that Washington has now frozen these intelligence-sharing channels, with three officials confirming the move.
Additionally, the US has instructed its allies to refrain from passing American intelligence to Ukraine, as per reports. While some allied nations with intelligence assets inside Ukraine may still provide certain information, it is unlikely to include time-sensitive or high-value intelligence – critical elements needed for precision strikes against mobile Russian targets.
This development comes amid a worsening relationship between US and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Earlier, Trump had called Zelenskyy a dictator some weeks ago and suggested he was not calling for elections because he feared losing.'
