South London shooting, stabbing leaves 4 injured

A shocking incident of violence took place in South London where four people were injured in a shooting, and another man was found stabbed nearby, as per reports. The police are now investigating whether both incidents are connected.
The shooting reportedly happened in the Brixton area at night. According to reports, police received a call around 1:14 AM about a gunshot being fired from a moving vehicle on Coldharbour lane. Four people were reportedly hit during the attack, including a 70-year-old man. Among them, a 25-year-old man is said to be in a serious and life-threatening condition.
The other victims, aged 21,47, and 70 suffered injuries but are currently stable, as per reports.
Almost an hour later, a separated incident was reported from a nearby place called Acre Lane, which is around 700 metres away. A 31-year-old man was reportedly found with multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Emergency services reached the spot within minutes. Some victims were given treatment at the scene, while others were quickly taken to nearby hospitals. Two of them were shifted to a major trauma centre for better care.
So far, no arrests have been made, but a search operation is going on in the area. Officers are also checking nearby locations, including areas around Southwyck House estate.
