Rahul Gandhi arrives in US to engage with Indian diaspora at Brown University

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, arrived at Boston Logan International Airport in the United States on Saturday (local time).

As part of his visit, he is scheduled to visit Brown University in Rhode Island, where he will engage with faculty members and students.

Gandhi is also expected to meet with members of the Indian diaspora, office bearers, and representatives of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC), as per reports.

Notably, Gandhi’s visit is the second to the US in recent months. In September 2024, Gandhi was on a three-day visit to the US.

During his visit, he travelled to Dallas, where he interacted with students and teachers at the University of Texas and addressed the members of the Indian community.

From Dallas, he travelled to Washington, DC, where he interacted with students and faculty at Georgetown University. It was Gandhi’s first visit to the US after becoming the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha.
