Two groups clash in Visnagar over honking, three injured

A clash erupted between two groups in Mehsana’s Visnagar over a minor issue on Monday, injuring three individuals. 

According to reports, in Kamana village of Visnagar, an argument broke out between two groups on Monday over honking, which quickly escalated into a heated clash with stone-pelting from both sides.

In this violent incident, the mob caused damage to a motorcycle, the village panchayat.

The situation escalated, prompting a convoy of police officers, including Visnagar Deputy Superintendent of Police and officials from Mehsana Local Crime Branch and Special Operation Group, to arrive at the scene. 

They had to deploy tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. Police rounded up seven people to bring the situation under control.

During the clash, stones were pelted, and vandalism took place, injuring three people.
