Six killed, eight injured in three-vehicle accident on Khedbrahma-Ambaji highway

A triple collision took place on Saturday involving a bus, jeep, and motorcycle near Hingtiya village on the Khedbrahma-Ambaji Highway claimed six lives and left eight others injured.

According to initial reports, a bus enroute to Vadodara from Ambaji collided with a jeep and a motorcycle near Hingtiya, leading to a crash. Three people died on the spot, while six passengers sustained serious injuries.
Local police and emergency services rushed to the scene, upon being alerted. The people injured in the crash were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, and appeals for stricter traffic regulation, better road maintenance, and increased public awareness are growing louder.
