Sudanese youth dies after moped hits barricade in Gandhinagar

A young man from Sudan lost his life in a road accident in Gandhinagar on Tuesday after his moped crashed into a barricade near Indroda village. The impact of the collision was severe, causing fatal injuries to the rider.
According to preliminary information, the youth was riding his moped through the area when it struck a barricade, installed on the road for traffic regulation and security purposes. Due to the strong impact, he was thrown off the vehicle and fell onto the road.
The victim sustained serious head injuries in the accident and died at the scene before help could arrive.
A police team from Gandhinagar reached the location soon after receiving information about the incident. Initial inquiries indicate that the deceased was a citizen of Sudan and is believed to have been a student studying at a private university in Gujarat’s capital city.
Authorities are currently working to confirm the identity of the youth and determine which educational institution he was enrolled in. The body has been sent to a hospital for a postmortem examination.
Police have registered a case of accidental death, and further investigation is ongoing.
