₹80 lakhs stolen at gunpoint from angadia worker in Deesa

Two individuals looted ₹80 lakh from an angadia worker in Banaskantha’s Deesa at gun point.

Upon learning of the incident, the police and the Local Crime Branch (LCB) team arrived at the scene and began investigation.

Robbery incidents have been on the rise in Gujarat. Earlier in Ahmedabad, two bikers stole ₹40 lakhs in cash from a building contractor near Shalby Hospital Road in the Anandnagar area on the evening of September 27.

The incident took place when the contractor, Shyam Sunder Vasani, was on his way back from collecting money for an ongoing petrol pump construction project.

According to the police, Vasani had collected the cash from an Angadia firm near Seema Hall in the Prahladnagar area.
