Porbandar gangster Bhima Dula nabbed by police

The notorious gangster of Porbandar, Bhima Dula, was arrested with ample amount of ammunition by police over conspiring an attack on a cow herder last month.
On September 24 in Boria village of Porbandar, three people brutally attacked Dana Chavda (62) while he was grazing cattle. A complaint was registered over this at Bagwadar Police Station.
The complaint revealed that three months ago, Ramgar Meghnathi of Adityana, who worked with Bhima Dula, had got into a scuffle with Lakhman Mucchar of Boria village in a road rage.
The attack on the elderly man in Boria was conspired after this incident. The case was transferred to the Local Crime Branch afterwards.
Acting on a tip-off, Jaymal Karavadra and Vanraj Odedara, two of the accused in the attack on the elderly man were nabbed by LCB.
The interrogation revealed that Karavadra and Adedara, along with Masri Odedara, had conspired the attack on the man, on the orders of Bhima Dula Odedara. The two accused also admitted that the third one was hiding at Bhima Dula's residence.
Six teams, led by Porbandar Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhagirathsinh Jadeja, raided Bhima Dula’s residence in Adityana, leading to his arrest along with the third accused Mashri Odedara.
While conducting a search operation in the house, 74 weapons including airguns, revolvers, pistols, rifles, 12 swords, 10 knives, spears, sickles, and sticks were found and seized. An amount of ₹91.65 lakh was also seized.
