In view of the Lok Sabha General Election 2024, the income tax department has started a control room at ‘Aayakar Bhavan’ in Ahmedabad to provide information and receive complaints about illegal activities such as black money, hawala money and cash bullion.

Citizens can report illegal activities through the contact number, WhatsApp, or email.

To conduct a free and fair election with an ideal code of conduct, the necessary arrangements are being made across the state by the chief electoral officer (CEO) under the directive of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

As a part of this, the I-T dept has set up a control room on the first floor at the Aayakar Bhavan in Ahmedabad to spread awareness and complaints about the dubious financial activities during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
